On the upside:
Taurus is an Earth sign, and like Virgo and Capricorn, is solid, reliable and practical. Taureans make strong, dependable friends and enjoy being with other people. Don’t think this makes them a walkover, though: beneath that calm exterior lies a formidable temper which will explode in your face if you push Taurus too far. Ruled by the planet Venus, goddess of love and beauty, Taureans are often artistic or creative and likely to enjoy music and art. They’re also fond of the finer things in life such as good food and wine.

Possible downsides:
Taurus is often said to be the most fixed sign of the zodiac, making those born under it inflexible and resistant to change. Their down to earth and practical nature can sometimes run to the extreme: if Taurus can’t touch, see, smell or hear it, it doesn’t exist. This sign can be prey to falling for a pretty face, often at the expense of other less visible attributes such as wit or intelligence.

The bottom line…
Taurus sees life in black and white. What you see is what you get – but if you happen to value Taurus’ very good taste and ability to appreciate the simple pleasures in life and nature, that’s probably something you wouldn’t want to change anyway!
