Aries: 21 March - 19th April *
On the upside:
Aries is a fire sign, and as such, alongside Sagittarius and Leo, Aries is full of energy and enthusiasm. More than anything else, Aries loves a challenge, and might even manage to create a few where they don’t exist! Ruled by Mars, planet of drive and energy, Aries is often either involved in sport or is an avid spectator. Mental challenges also appeal to this sometimes confrontational sign.
Possible downsides:
To more introverted types, Aries’ extrovert behaviour can sometimes seem loudmouthed and pushy. His or her temper is volatile, but fizzles out as quickly as it flares up. The best way to keep an Aries happy is to give him or her constant variety and stimulation – this sign gets bored very easily and hates having to be bothered with detail.
The bottom line …
Aries loves to win, lives to win and doesn’t even want to consider the silver medal - this is just an insulting reminder that he or she didn’t come first! Life can be a constant quest for adventure with an Aries, enjoy the fun, but don’t get too comfortable, Aries will be leaping on to the next challenge before you know it!
An Aries might have said:
“You don’t learn to hold your own in the world by standing on guard, but by attacking and getting well hammered yourself.” George Bernard Shaw.
Famous Aries:
Aretha Franklin; Robbie Coltrane; Robert Downey Jnr; David Frost; Diana Ross; Charlie Chaplin; Marlon Brando; Omar Sharif;
Jeffrey Archer; John Major.
*The Sun goes into and leaves each zodiac sign at slightly different times each year. As a general convention, Sun sign columns use the approximate date range for each sign. If you are unsure which sign your Sun is in, ask an Astrologer.
